Our Farm

Sweet Bee Orchard is located in Amelia County, about an hour west of Richmond in the Piedmont region of Virginia. The rolling hills, fertile soil, and abundant rivers and creeks make it an ideal location.

The 30 acres consists primarily of undeveloped forest, with over 5 acres of wild blackberries. There are numerous black walnuts, as well as oaks, pines, and many other trees native to the area. Stock Creek runs through the middle of the property.

The orchard and apiary is still in the planning stages. (See The Plan) There are 2 acres of cleared land that we are preparing for planting this Fall. Our beginnings are small, but the we are excited to see the work begun! (Zech 4:10)
